A transparent guide to questions you may encounter during financial account onboarding or review.
Verification is a normal part of financial services
Regulated providers have obligations to understand customers and their transactions. Depending on circumstances, they may review identity, beneficial ownership, business activities, expected account behaviour and source of funds.
A question is not always a rejection
An information request can form part of ordinary onboarding or ongoing due diligence. Timelines and outcomes vary by provider and risk factors. Avoid assuming a positive or negative decision before the provider communicates it.
Give a clear description of your work
Explain your actual platform and revenue sources accurately. For subscription businesses, payment histories, contracts, invoices or platform statements may be relevant if the provider requests them securely.
Never try to disguise transactions
Do not route money through unrelated third parties, invent descriptions or split transactions to avoid reviews. If you are unsure what a provider needs, ask for a clear explanation of acceptable documentation.
Know the boundaries of an introducer
Creoroute can help you start the conversation and make an introduction. Account decisions, verification, fees, account protection and support obligations belong to the actual provider and its published terms.
