When you manage multiple creators, a little operational clarity can save a lot of confusion later.
Separate the people and the business
An agency is a distinct business from the creators it represents. Define which payments belong to the agency, which belong to creators, and who is legally entitled to receive each payout. Do not assume an agency can collect platform earnings owed to creators.
Map the money flow
Make a simple diagram of sources, destinations, currencies, typical payment sizes and frequency. Note whether the agency receives management fees, pays freelancers, handles advertising expenditure or needs international transfers.
Have your company information ready
Providers may ask for incorporation details, directors, beneficial owners, website or social profiles, commercial contracts and an explanation of business activity. Prepare accurate information rather than uploading sensitive documents to informal chat channels.
Discuss limits and responsibilities upfront
Ask about permitted transaction types, onboarding stages, available currencies, fees, account access and approval criteria. Consider a professional accountant or lawyer for contract and tax questions. An introducer cannot replace those advisers.
Scale without cutting corners
If your operation grows, revisit whether your payment setup still reflects actual business activity. A compliant structure is more useful than a shortcut that causes problems later.
Educational information only, not legal, tax or financial advice. No application or account approval is guaranteed. Eligibility depends on provider checks and terms.
